Imola Gru flew to Malaga to provide assistance with the assembly of a luffing jib for a Manitowoc 18000 self-propelled crane.
The crane is in place to renovate a cement processing plant; the operation involves the installation of a 120 metre tower to stow the raw material. The operation to set up the machine lasted ten days, in order to obtain a configuration involving a 79.9 metre boom and a luffing jib of the same length: configured in this way, the Manitowoc 18000 can easily reach the 145 metre range required.
Roberto, an Imola Gru technician, supervised all the operations carried out in collaboration with qualified technicians from the local company.
Everything went well, with overall satisfaction… it seems incredible that in only thirty days we will have to dismantle everything!
