In Egypt for the assembly of a MANITOWOC 2250

Abroad again on behalf of Manitowoc Crane Care, Imola Gru has supervised the assembly of a Manitowoc 2250 crawler crane on an Egyptian construction site in Ain Soukhna (150 kilometres from Cairo and 30 kilometres from Suez) for Danieli.

It took almost a week of work to set up the machine, from the assembly of the mechanical parts to the preparation of the electric and electronic parts. And these jobs are never without some small unscheduled item to resolve – in this case, it involved fixing a problem with the boom stop switch.

As we are called ever more frequently to work on the international stage, the training we provide for Imola Gru technicians is the keystone that continues to distinguish our services. It is no coincidence that next week the Lifting Unit will be involved in a new Manitowoc course dedicated to Grove mobile cranes.
