Construction work on the Unifimm Tower continues, on the 44000m2 site to the eastern outskirts of Bologna. A steel and glass skyscraper, which at 125 metres will become the highest building in the city, overtaking the historical Asinelli Tower by almost 30 metres.

This project, funded by the Unipol Group, has been entrusted to the construction company CMB, who have chosen to make use of Imola Gru’s experience in construction site operations.

“For a project of these dimensions, it was fundamental to choose competent, reliable partners, and Imola Gru has demonstrated that it is able to offer high-quality products, guaranteeing a consultation service throughout all phases of the construction project, both in terms of safety and technical efficiency,” says Mr. Morselli, the director of operations and machines at CMB.

For the construction of this huge building, therefore, Imola Gru is once again participating with the support of the long experience of the Potain brand, assembling an MD208A tower crane with a height of 55 metres and a maximum payload of 10000kg, and an MD125B, 30 metres high and with a maximum payload of 6000kg.

Another success that reinforces the strength of Imola Gru’s policies, which see safety and continuous training as true company missions.
