As part of the development programme for the Tuscan motorway network, a large-scale construction site has been launched for the construction of a cantilever bridge made from pre-cast concrete, with a total investment of 4 billion Euro. The work has been entrusted to a contractor, Toto S.p.A., which places the operational safety at the foundation of everything, and has therefore chosen its partners among the most qualified international companies.

All operations will be carried out at height, and during certain times of year, in difficult weather conditions.
For this reason, they entrusted Imola Gru with the assembly of two POTAIN MD 285, 95 metres high (under hook), assembled telescopically with coach screws anchored to the structure at 45 metres; and one POTAIN SP285, 65 metres high, mounted on a carriage and with a 40 metre boom.

The men asked to carry out highly technical tasks at a height of 90m are direct evidence of the fact that building infrastructure of such dimensions requires compliance with all safety measures.

Iader Coglianese, one of our best technicians, brilliantly followed all the steps of this delicate assembly, demonstrating once again his high level of ability and experience.

An exciting operation that once again sees us in a leading role. Professionalism and safety, in true IMOLA GRU style.
