SACMI<\/strong>, a world leader in the sector for ceramics, beverage, and packaging, processing and plastics machines, chose Imola Gru’s experience for the installation of 4 new bridge cranes (overhead cranes) in their newly opened factory. The cranes are made by Konecranes, who have 80 years of experience in the production of high-quality and efficient machines, and are becoming ever more important in the Italian market.
\nThis solution was reached thanks to the commitment of Imola Gru’s president, Stefano Manara, who has been following the operation since our first contact, advising the group on their choice of Konecranes bridge cranes. The assembly, which took 5 months, saw the assignment of a team coordinated by Ivan Bianconcini and composed of Marco Avantaggiato, Mauro Lolli and Fabio Minardi.<\/p>\n

The exclusive software and technology that Konecranes machines are equipped with allowed the team to overcome the difficulties associated with moving the bulky components to position on the machines. The anti-swing and semi-automatic systems installed on these machines minimise the danger of collision during movement, and allow the operator to control the machines in total safety, with simplified commands.<\/p>\n
